Overview

Sage Dental is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Brand & Multicultural Marketing to lead strategic brand development and audience engagement across our rapidly growing multi-location dental organization. This individual will shape how our brand shows up in the market, drive creative campaigns, and ensure cultural resonance in diverse communities across 4 states and 140+ locations. This role is responsible for upholding and elevating the brand, delivering engaging patient experiences, and leading a team that brings to life our offers, products, and messaging across multiple market touchpoints - from website to patient retention and everything in between.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Campaign Leadership

  • Define and evolve the brand identity and positioning across markets and audience segments.
  • Lead development of marketing offers and go-to-market strategies for new services and regions.
  • Translate marketing strategies into actionable creative briefs for the in-house Creative Studio.
  • Guide the production of 360° campaigns that span digital, traditional, in-office, and community marketing.
  • Ensure consistent tone, voice, and brand integrity across all patient touchpoints.

Multicultural & Inclusive Marketing

  • Develop culturally relevant campaigns that authentically connect with diverse audiences, including Hispanic, Black, and other underrepresented communities.
  • Partner with field teams and community leaders to identify and act on unique needs in regional markets.
  • Customize messaging and media placement to reflect local language, culture, and values.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Drive a robust content marketing program across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Cultivate partnerships with influencers, local organizations, and media outlets to boost visibility.
  • Craft engaging patient education content that can be deployed in practices and adapted for online and paid media channels. 

Digital Experience & Communications

  • Own strategy for website experience and patient engagement tools, including online booking and informational content.
  • Lead CRM and outbound communications strategy to engage current patients and nurture long-term retention.
  • Map and optimize the patient journey across the lifecycle—from first impression to loyalty.

Growth Enablement

  • Support market launches, service line rollouts, and new office openings with tailored branding and localized content.
  • Collaborate with Digital, Creative, and Operations peers to ensure cross-functional campaign execution.
  • Use data and insights to inform continuous improvement and experimentation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with an emphasis in brand, multicultural, or integrated marketing.
  • Strong understanding of patient or consumer journey design, lifecycle marketing, and content strategy.
  • Proven success leading creative development processes and managing agency or in-house creative teams.
  • Deep experience in multicultural campaign development, preferably within healthcare, retail, or service industries. Dental or DSO experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools for patient communications and outbound campaigns.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish languages a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required; MBA a plus.
